Guards Gearing Up For 2009 - 2010 Season!

Burbank - Fresh off of a history making state championship, newly hired boys head coach Bryan Camacho is making his presence felt.
Bell-Jeff, “The small school with Big results”, had over 40 players turned out for summer basketball and a chance to play for the new coach who demands “nothing but the best” every time you step on the floor.”
Every minuet of every practice has been been carefully accounted for in order to teach the players a new system, how to be leaders and make them competitors both on and off the court.
Coach Camacho understands that conditioning is a vital part of a successful program and both the girls and boys practices are tough, fast paced with no standing around allowed.
He feels that, “the talents is here to win a championship,” but players have to be taught how to win and that starts with conditioning not only the body but the the mind as well. In order to make this happen he has assembled a staff of former high school and college coaches to help teach the players and mold them into winners both on and off the court.
He also believes that looking good is also part of the equation and as a result, the entire basketball program is sporting new custom designed practice uniforms.
Bell-Jeff’s ”new and improved” boys program is already showing the effects and are starting to display the aggressive offense, tough hard nosed defense and team oriented system that lead the Lady Guards to last seasons CIF Div V State Championship.
With new coaching, several young returning players and an influx of talented freshman, both Bell-Jeff’s basketball programs are positioned to have championship caliber teams at all levels for many years to come.
The boys are playing in various tournaments as well as two leagues this summer, if you would like to come check them out, click here for times and gym locations.

Boys will be playing two games this summer , well good luck to the team. New coaching strategy is needed, anyway Coach Camacho is good in that.
