Bell-Jeff Drops One To St. Anthony!

LONG BEACH - After watching the Lady Guards churn out another victory over league rival St. Anthony 69-53 on Friday night, the boys varsity team took the court to face the Saints.

Unfortunately, the outcome was not the same as St. Anthony defeated the Guards 68-55. The Guards held their own for most of the first half before a late rally by the Saints stretched the lead to 33-21 at the half.

Bell-Jeff came back and played the Saints close in the third trimming the lead to 5 points before the Saints (13-1) regained control of the game and never looked back.

Bell-Jeff (10-5) dropped to 0-2 in league and look to right the ship this Friday against the St. Genevieve Valiants (0-3)
