Bell-Jeff Softball Team Winning - Beat Saints!

BURBANK - The Bellarmine-Jefferson High softball team is winning this season under first-year Coach John Casaneda.
The Guards are 8-4 and in first place in the Santa Cruz League with a 2-0 mark. The team is even getting some recognition from its peers, as Bell-Jeff is ranked No. 10 in this week’s CIF Southern Section Division VII poll.
Last season, the Guards went 5-11 and finished third in league.
Bell-Jeff’s next game is at 2:45 p.m. Thursday against St. Anthony in a league contest at Gross Park.
